Exemplars in Geographic Thinking - Collaborative Writing Space
Hello and welcome to our wikispace!
Our fabulous team of writers has been using this wikispace as a virtual meeting space where we can post work, update each other on new developments and provide feedback. And now, we invite you to review our work and provide us with feedback and direction that we know will result in a stronger final product.
It is a rather unconventional way to collaborate on writing a resource but I hope you find it easy to use. If you have any difficulties or hesitancy, please let me know and I will find a different way to get you the materials.
Please note that our original conception of the resource included 1-2 lessons to serve as an exemplar for each how a teacher might approach each portal concept and weave it into the teaching of content (for a total of 6-12 lessons in the final resource). We have a total of 18 lesson ideas, 9 of which have been fully fleshed out. You will find an overview of all the lessons and specific links to the 9 completed (or almost completed) lessons by clicking on the heading "Drafts for Review!" in the sidebar to the left of this page. You will find further details on how to send comments back to me on that page. You do not need to visit any of the other pages listed under "Working Pages (no longer active)" as these reflect very early drafts of the material only.
Thank you, in advance, for your insight and feedback. I look forward to hearing from you.
